The technology behind the Air Oasis AO5000 is Photocatalytic Oxidation (PCO) that has become extremely popular in recent years because of its effectiveness and low cost of operation. Air is brought into the internal chamber of the AO5000 where it is exposed to high intensity broad spectrum 254 nm ultraviolet light that initiates the PCO process resulting in unit's ability to:.
