Whereas the model F116A1021 comes equipped with the prefilter and 100-percent HEPA filter , the models F116A1047 comes with prefilter only and an additional blank frame to hold one additional filter of your choice additional cost Air flowing through these units undergoes two stages of cleaning depending on the unit. The first stage is a 25-percent-30-percent Ashrae Prefilter, which captures large particles. The second stage of cleaning includes one from following; 95-percent DOP Media Filter, 95-percent Ashrae Filter or 2-CPZ modules. The 95-percent Ashrae filter or the 95-percent HEPA filter capture finer size particulates.The CPZ modules provide control of odors gasses and VOC's.
